Mysql : latin1 vers UTF8

Forcément, les conseils de la documentation Mysql ne fonctionnant pas, je me suis fait une jolie petite sauce pour transformer une base latin1 vers utf8 :
mysqldump --add-drop-table -uroot -p "MABASE" | replace CHARSET=latin1 CHARSET=utf8 | iconv -f latin1 -t utf8 | mysql -uroot -p "MABASE"
A ne surtout pas utiliser (mysql ou cette commande, je vous laisse le choix) :)

Le mieux c'est de commencer avec de l'utf8. Il restera toujours des problèmes d'incompatibilité par la suite.

Tout à fait d'accord. L'UTF8 ne pose quasiment pas de problèmes d'incompatibilité. Merci pour ce raccourci très utile.
